Toyo Tires for sl55?

What do you guys know about Toyo proxes 4 tires on these cars. Me and my wheel guys chose them for the sizing requirements I was looking for on my car. Any experience with them out there? So far they feel great. Had Michelin ps2's on it prior. Have 20x9 and 20x11 wheel sizes. Didn't want to go with 25 series tires in the back since I wasn't lowering the car and it just looked strange to me, hence the toyo 295/30/20's for the rear. Thanks guys.

Had T1-Rs on my CLK. Good wet tire, so-so in the dry. Lots quieter than the Contis that came stock but only lasted 15000 miles.

Some one else complained about the Toyos being out of round. I never checked mine, but the shop could never get them balanced to my liking even on a brand new set of wheels. I'll be looking to try something else besides the T1-R on the SL when the Contis are worn out.

IMHO, I don't recommend them at all....I had them on my 2005 SL65 before I sold it and hated them, They lost tread really quick and were really loud when driving, especially on the highway!! Worst investment in tires I ever made and will surely not repeat it....I like the Michelin's though and also Pirelli's as well.

I had the Toyo T1R on my C55 before.
I did not like them. Traction was not good in my opinion.

THey were cheap tho!

Maybe so , but they are not the same tire or design. Many plants make a lot of different products all over this world. Toyo`s are good tires but I still fail to see your point. LMAO!

intertesting you say they are out of round. I cant seem to get them balanced well either. Took off a pair of PS2's and they were like glass. Interesting. The traction thus far seems good though, but this balance thing is killing me!
