What is the best way to launch this car from a standstill i feel like i can run with almost anything on the road nailing the gas while already moving. But i dont have that confidence from a standstill i feel like the esp cuts the power way to much and with it off i feel like theres way to much wheelspin. Would it be faster to just mash it with esp on or modulate with esp off?

The best way to launch would be to ease in to full throttle with the esp engaged. I power brake up to about 2,000 rpms and ease into full throttle. It takes practice but you can get good launch times doing it this way.
I have a modified SL55 and with the esp off at launch I get a violent reaction like the rear suspension is trying to destroy itself and I continue to get wheel spin all the way through second gear. At least with the esp on I don't get the wheel spin only the orange triangle blinking.
Do a search on the E55 forum under launch or drag racing starts.
