Okay , well I am a BMW owner and I only post here OT sometimes but I had some questions about the SL55. This thing is a fu#$ing beast!!! Is there anything on the road that is faster? What are some of the options it has, I heard you can touch your finger anywhere that has a sensor with your finger and the car starts automatically, what other cool ***** does this car offer??

(I am a MB noob, used to own a 99 c230 kompressor but have turned to dark side)

Of course there are things faster, but this probably one of the few that you can drive everyday. It is still very comfortable and makes a good daily driver.

You can start it by pressing a button on the shifter. This is the only way. You can't just press anywhere.

Also, you might want to post on the SL55 forum to get more answers to your question.

Yeah a ferrari and lamborgini is and i think thats it. Yes you can start it with a touch of your finger. But you have to touch a button on the shifter. To unlock it you have to touch the doorhandles. Um what else it has? Go to www.mbusa.com lol and go to build your own and look. Theres to many things. But best part it has a 497 horsepower engine with a retractable hardtop. (drool drool drool drool)

Sure there are others in same category as the sl55 that might be better, but they would cost you much more and not all of them are made for every day driving.

It's just the best at what it is, it's got it all! And like the other SL's, it's timeless, a true work of art! If I had the $ I'd buy that before anything else, I hate to say it, but it's perfect!
