2 Cool Things/ 1 Not Cool

I've had the car for 2 weeks now and there are new things to find out every day: !st cool thing: when the car wants to give you an error message (e.g. the parking brake is on and you've put it in Drive), both center gauges turn a great flashing red color from their usual blue. 2nd cool thing: Linguatronic and cell phone integration is superb. It is quite a rush to say: "FM ninety-six point five" and have the COMAND go right there from the CD or whatever. It's very precise and needs no training. There is very limited Navi application, but the phone dialing, audio and speech recognition is perfect.

1 NOT cool thing: Motorola V60 + Linguatronic + Integrated Cell Phone Kit + Labor equals North of $ 3,000.

Well, whatever, it works and the car is not complete without it.

I guess there's no way to get the Linguatronic option without the phone?

Actually for us, what we did is tell our salesguy that it was actually around 2500$ i believe as it was stated that on the MBUSA website. They man agreed to talk to his labor department and then lowered us the price of the total V60 phone stuff to what it was listed on the MBUSA.com site.

The red thing is awesome btw, always reminds you of those small details that one normally forgets.
