My roof creaks. Do you lube just the seals and what with?

You need to lube every spot where the roof mechanism makes contact with another part;hinges latches, seals etc. I use a white silicone lube. It will work for a while but when the colder weather sets in (below 40 degress) nothing will eliminate the creaks except to turn up the sound system---radio, CD player or engine at full throttle.
