Anybody have the Veloce ECU/Pulley?

Hello all.
I've been trying to decide which company to go with for my mods. I've read many of the posts here and on the E55 forum, and it appears that everyone has high regards for Vadim @ VRP and what he has created.
His VR600 package looks strong, and he has the dyno graphs, YouTube videos, and many of you to help substantiate his claims.
Veloce also has many fans, and Dino seems to be extolled by many car owners who have had their cars tuned. He too looks to have a lot of race experience and is well respected in the community. Many clients have indicated increased performance using their "seat of the pants" indicators, but I was wondering if anyone has any dyno sheets or timed runs after getting their cars modified by Veloce.
When I saw this on the website about an otherwise stock SL55 it sounded very impressive:
(update! Mike upgraded to our ECU/Pulley package and has dyno'd at 469hp/491 lb. ft.tq (at the wheels). Which translates to 585hp/620 lb. ft.tq at the crank. He has since run an 11.3 1/4 mi!
But according to many of you guys who have had your cars heavily modified and run times slower than this, it seems kind of impossible to run an 11.3 with only an ECU/Pulley.
I don't mean any disrespect to anyone, but am humbly asking for advice as a newbie so I can learn for others' experience.
Thanks for your input.

I'm also a bit stunned over some of the 1/4 mile times here. They are pretty impressive!
And compared with the power of my own car and its drag times, I can't stop myself from wondering, what am I doing wrong..?

My car has about 630-640 HP crank (but let's say 600+ to be sure not to exaggerate), and is with its 12 sec flat @ 120 m/h not very impressive,
and sure as hell far away from 11,3 sec..!
And since I have my ESP on, I find it very hard to see any difference in how fast I can put the pedal to the floor...
There aren't THAT many ways of doing just that.
Of course, 20" isn't helping my case I know.

But my only answers (or advice if you want), that I've come up with are;
Stickier tires.
Lighter car.
And I guess, if you go without ESP, there presumably are some technics involved...

Other than that, I'm pretty clueless myself...

To my knowledge, Veloce has yet to show consistent before/after dynoes or track runs.

Do a search on here and check them out THOUROUGLY.

VRP, LET or EVOSPORT would be my recommendation.

I was wondering the same thing. There are lots of claims out there, but you want to know what kind of performance you're buying. My svc advisor is really high on Renntech, but the $ per horsepower is a bit too much. I noticed that even on Renntech's website, they don't list the acceleration times for the packages like they used to.
