Aftermarket Warranties for SL55/600/Which really Pays!
I am in the market for a SL600 or SL55
I'm currently shopping for the right car at the right deal.
I have heard that aftermarket warranties mostly are a sham.
Is this true?
Has any members actually used their Aftermarket warranty to handle major issues such as ABC suspension issues ,electonic/electrical issues,transmision repair,etc.?
If you could please post your experience stating name of company,issue resolved ,cost of issue and cost of warranty that would be a big help.
I thought if we could create a list of the best to the worst it would help out a lot of us here on the forums.

i got a daihmer chrysler extended warranty, and it paid out a month after i got it with no problems at all

I have a great warranty with apcwarranties.com on my 03 SL 55 It cost $ 2,160.00 and it covers everything if you get the Platinum coverage. I bought this through Mercedes Benz of Pompano. I have to pay a $ 100.00 deductible. Since it went into effect in june "07 they have paid for over $ 5,500.00 in repairs. It has worked out well for me and it expires 11/09.
