COMAND II - when

Quick question.

My SL will be in early March production. Will I get COMAND II?

What exactly are the differences? Will my old CD Roms for COMAND I still work? Can it handle DVDs? I guess it will look like the one in the new S and CL Class? Hopefully it will at least be faster and scroll more smoothly.

Rumor is COMAND II has been pushed back to later this year now. Possibly being held until 2004 models.

Command II

For what it's worth...I asked a Mercedes rep (not a salesman) about Command II for the 2003 SL. He called someone who "knew it all" while I was standing there....answer...."not for 2003"!!!!
