How to replace both batteries on the SL55
I have seen several forums about this, but I wanted to know if anyone had a step by step procedure to replace both batteries and still maintain the memories without having to reset anything.
I have heard talk of hooking a charger to it or something.
Do you just hook a charger to it while it is connected, leave it connected to the wires and swap the batteries out. Am I missing anything?
Does anyone know the cost of having MB Roadside assistance doing it if you are out of warranty?
Do you get free MB Roadside assistance if you don't have TeleAid service?
Thanks in advance for all of the input.

If you planned on replacing the battery with the OEM brand you might as well let MB Roadside do it. I had mine replaced on my last vehicle (CLK) .I was out of warranty and also didn't have TeleAid. I believe i just had to pay for the battery. Call them up and if they did have to charge you for any "out of warranty related issue" they will inform you of that up front. Hope that helped in some way.
