Trap Speeds/ Problems
I took my 06 kleeman SL65 to the track for the first time last night and was running high 12's low 13's at around 112.
I am certainly no expert but nor am I a novice at the track and the deviation from median reported times elsewhere seems very significant. I dont think it could just be driver error as I have had AMG cars in the past and was always near median times, albeit at a different location. Also, I thought trap speeds should be somewhat consistent across drivers.
Could this be the i/c pump or or do you think it is just the difference between states as I was in Texas in 45 degree weather. If it is the pump, would the dealer necessarily have noticed this problem on a service call a month ago?
Thanks for the help in advance.

I am no expert, but I believe something is not right. You would probably need to dyno the car to confirm your doubts.
Should definitely be trapping somewhere around 120.

No, a failing intercooler pump doesn't typically generate an error code that the dealer will catch. I had to capture IATs with a datalogger before my dealer would believe that the pump had a problem.

texass600,
Just to follow up, I recently replaced the pump on my 65... we were able to see the high IATs on the dyno when we strapped her down. No fault codes in the DAS, but without question the pump was on it's way out.
