Air filter on SL65-AMG Black Series.
I came across a picture of the air filter design on SL65-AMG Black Series. Can this be implemented in the standard SL65 and will it improve airflow?

Clearly, the standard air-flow and filter set up in the V12 biturbo is a disaster: restrictive and 90 deg elbows galore (if you ever take off the air-filter you know what I mean) hence the redesign for the BS. But it is also true that the BS design can can not be replicated in our cars - they moved the starter battery and the SBC control block on the right side and the ABC reservoir on the left, pretty major surgery (the BS does not have ABC)
Renntech redesigned the filter box for the standard biturbo to eliminate most of the original flaws, i.e top entry to the filter and bottom exit to the turbos
