Windshield Replacement
Has anyone in here replaced there front windshield on their SL55, if so what was the cost ?
I don’t have a crack or anything but I have about 1000 little dots from rocks thru the years. Any solution to those little dots ?

Safelite can either repair or replace windshields. http://www.safelite.com/index.jsp
For a Mercedes dealer replacement not under warranty, it should cost about $ 800 (installed) for a brand new Mercedes OEM windshield... ask your dealer. If the car is an older model you may be able to get a used (or aftermarket) windshield for less money. But if the car is a newer model you may have to buy one from the Mercedes dealer at full price. Also, if the windshield can be repaired, some insurance companies will repair it for free. Good Luck.

If you have glass coverage and it affects the vision, which it might at certain times of day.... your insurance may replace it.
