switching speedo reading from mph to kph.
Can this be done without swapping the speedometer? And if so,how easy is it to make the changes or it has to be done in a dealership? Thanks.

Yes, its one of your optional computer settings. Your owners manual wil explain how its done, it's very easy and does not require any changes to your speedo or a visit to the dealership.

Thanks for th reply. I have not bought a SL yet but in the process of researching what needs to be done to make a US SL55 conform to the Canadian regulations.
So going back to metric conversion, when I have the reading read out kilometers instead of miles, would the speed reading on the middle dial show kilometers as well?
