Iam thinking of replacing my SL65 exhaust as well. tried to remove the resanators but there is none on the SL65. Iam thinking of eissenman as well, or is there anything else we can do besides replacing the exhaust.

Two words: STRAIGHT PIPES. Check my build thread, I will be posting pics shortly. The sound is just INCREDIBLE. Easily one of the baddest sounding cars I've ever heard (and I've heard THOUSANDS).
Don't waste your money on mufflers. I know you are going to ask for sound clips but it is extremely difficult to really capture the terrifying symphony that is unleashed when those mufflers are removed.

so are you deleting the mufflers alltogether.. how loud does it make it? dose it drone??

Marcus I posted this link in your build thread too.. Yes Delete mufflers completely add 3" straight pipes from your cat's to AMG tips, Zero droan, very civil @ idle or in D when not on gas but when stomped, well nuff talk here's the "Symphony Unleashed"

dam that video clip is crazy, it sounds hella nice, thanks for the info. Guess iam going that rout. Oh by the way does removing the muffler decrease power? or increase power?
can you post pic's the tip and pipes, wanna see how you did it so i can make sure the muffler shop does it right.
