ECU/pulley- worth headers, cats and pipes?

I looked, obviously incorrectly b/c I'm sure this has been discussed before, but going to add ecu/pulley to 03 sl55 and don't know if worth more than double to add headers/cats/pipes kit or perhaps the 80 throttle body. Thoughts appreciated. Don't know real world numbers for gains, and most importantly, as not a drag car, want the most added fun around town for the money.
Balancing spending here versus need new radar such as V1/LI or 9500ci, and need new wheels and tires. The total bill of all this installed is looking around 12k, way out of the range at the moment. Looking where to apportion first as time and the budget allows.

Biggest bang for the buck is ECU and pulley. That will give you an extra 50 HP or so and the difference is noticeable.

Additional mods can add significant power--my car makes something like 625 to 650 hp--but the mods provide less and less additional power for more and more money.

It's very reasonable to do ECU and pulley first, then drive the car for a while. If you are happy with the result, then no additional mods required. If you find yourself wanting more power, then do the extra mods.

HTH.

i have checked out a few of the performance options out there.Kleemann right now is the best deal for the upgrades,by far! It would be nice if their competitors could match Kleeman prices!

I am pretty sure we beat Kleeman's prices. I know we beat most everyone's performance!
