Supercharger Engagement Squeek
Now that we have some real SL55 owners, I have a question for you!
Many people have commented upon (grumbled about) the annoying C32 supercharger clutch engagement squeek. It occurs just off idle, and I think it is the belt slipping as the clutch engages.
I believe the SL55 engages (and disengages) the supercharger in a similar way, but unlike the C32, the super has its own separate belt.
I have more-or-less gotten used to the sound, but I wondered whether a similar thing occurs on the SL55, or has Mercedes solved that little problem?

Never heard a sound like that, in fact I never heard the supercharger at all.
I guess the exhaust sound is ever present
and in the winter the top is up
