SL55 AMG vs Bentley Continental GT
Well we have an SL55 and this dealer offered us a White on orange GT. We refused. but was thinking anyone here who owns/owned a GT? How is it vs the 55? Your thoughts??
maybe two years down the line when the new GT comes out?

We have tuned a number of Bentley GTs and I am always amazed at the power they produce. However, they are a big and very heavy car. They make the SL55 feel like a Lotus Elise!

Think about the resale value on a car like that - It takes someone special to buy a White on Orange Bentley Continental GT - When buying a car, don't think just about yourself, because your going to have to sell it later on
That said, I have driven both, the SL55 is by far the better car IMO

I have a 2005 Bentley Cont GT, Porsche Twin Turbo and SL63. I must say completely different cars. Long drive, Bentley, hands down! BUT, I notice every am i pull out the keys to the 63. I have had a lot of cars and I really like this 63.

cant speak about the bently, but i have had 3 911's in the past. when my sl55 went back to mba due to an unrepairable problem with the abc suspension, i got a new sl63 as a replacement. i had a deal lined up to swap the sl63 for a new tt911 cab (+$25K) but i ended up keeping the sl63. i find the sl to be a better daily driver thank the 911. i also have an f430 spider and i believe the sl compliments the ferrari better than the 911.
