Congrats!!!!! This ought to show people that Vadim is a pioneer and goes where no other MB performance hardware designer dares venture including the big boys.
That top-mount intercooler will be the rage for all 55K cars. For those 55K owners that bashed Vadim recently, I'm going to assume there will be a price premium or the slogan "we refuse the right to serve anyone" may apply.
I am extremely happy for you as we were both being ridiculed for our patience. I believe Vadim will come through with my car too.

It is unfortunate that my project has taken this long. But remember my biggest delay was mainly due to Victor shipping the 5.7L back up to Canada for tear-down to ensure all was well with the initial break-in which I thought was very cool of him to do. I didn't hear any knocking noises whatsoever during my drive and it runs very smoothly, except at idle, so thumbs up to Victor for all my internal engine and head work!
Vadim will get the credit for fabricating my headers and exhaust, SLR type coolers, heat exchanger, and intake. PC will help tune the ECU and TCU.

On my 5.7L I would say 80+ hp on the top end. RennTech saw 70 hp increase with their top mounted coolers on an SL55. My coolers are bigger with more air flow in mind. The 1/4 mile track is where these bad boys will shine.

I just had my new Wavetrac differential installed.

Yeah, the Wavetrac LSD is an upgraded version of the Quaife.

I have a 2006 SL55 with the 030 package.
I converted it to the 2010 SL63 look. Every panel on the outside is a Factory MB part.
I can do it for $17K if interested.

I had specific internal modifications in mind at first, but as the project timeline increased so did the list of mods. I'm not sure what numbers the end product will produce, but we will find out. Stay tuned!

Take great care of that car, I'll buy it in 2012, when I'll be rich enough , and when you'll start a nasty project on the futur SL R340, with AMG V8 twin-turbo pushed to 900HP and many more goodies.lol
