2009 SL65 suspension
How does the suspension system/setting of the 2009 SL65 compare with the SL63. Is it similar or is the 65's comparable to the 63 but with the 030 performance package.

65 motor is ~250lbs heavier than 63's so need to adjust driving style for different wt balance; 65 rear brakes are slightly bigger than 63 030's (fronts are same); both have same crappy brake pedal feel, though strong brakes; for MY09, SL65 throttle response was recalibrated for better traction (I had '07 SL65 in past and hated its poor traction on imperfect pavement, let alone wet pavement, even in mid-range accel), but '09 SL65 still has weaker traction than '09 CL65 (perhaps inevitable b/c of 738lb-ft flowing through a much shorter wheelbase)
63 MCT has downshift blips for better chassis balance in heavy braking in twisties but MCT has rather dubious reliability/daily-useability/smoothness vs 65's bulletproof 5-sp autobox which unfortunately lacks downshift blips
