Thanks!

That's what they tell me. I can't wait to see it in person.

It's going to be a fun drive from Houston to Los Angeles!

I made the drive from Houston to LA in the SL, but stopped by Vegas on the way. Took 23 hrs to drive to Vegas from Houston! The SL was pretty comfortable though, I'm eager to hear how your back feels after driving the Vette that far! =)

Congrats on the new ride! Sure to be amazing.

Thanks azaka!

I'm eager to find out as well. I'm from Louisiana and for the past 9 years I go on an annual road trip from Los Angeles to Louisiana and back to Los Angeles. I know what to expect, but I never drove a ZO6 before so that will be an experience in itself.

Hey, if I start to get back pain then I'll just throttle her up!

I'll post my experiences of the trip.

After reading through some ZO6 forums I noticed that a lot of the ZO6 owners who keep their stock wheels on are replacing their stock Goodyear Eagle F1 EMT run-flats tires with Nitto's NT05 series. They state that the NT05s just out perform the Eagle F1 EMTs.

I plan of keeping the stock wheels on for now. Does anyone recommend me keeping the stock Goodyear Eagle F1 EMT run-flats tires on?

And does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with Nitto's NT05 tires?

V12-Biturbo
The run-flats are horrible for traction & have very stiff sidewalls make for absolute krappy ride, Ditch them ASAP after roasting the hell outta them on youtube for us

MP Cups are the shizzle on the C6 Z06!

I had my old C6 upgraded w/Z06 body panels, & Z06 whls, I shoehorned 345's on the rears 275's up front, handling was awesummm!!

Hey, should I put rear mounted turbos on this bad boy??
I would not do the rear turbos on this car. I have seen a few with them installed, for me it ruins the hole purpose of having one of the badest N/A big blocks on the road. The bolt on power on these cars is damn near endless!! Just stay N/A!

PS, a nice aftermarket cam really brings the monster alive! The idle sounds killer with that thump, thump..

If you have to do turbos (mega power), then you need to really start from scratch or everything will start breaking. Scroll down to motor pics on this low mileage 08 zo6 with twizies. Total rebuild, 1200 hp and 86K..

I agree Exotic. Since this is my daily driver I'll probably just keep her stock with the little mods it already has. At least for now.

Yeah, I do love the sound an aftermarket cam gives the LS7.

That's Awesome! But I think I'll pass on all that Mega Power!

I do like his tire set up though. Those Nitto's NT05 look awesome!
