Brand new member to the SL65 club
I've had over 2 months of sleepless nights thinking about a SL65. I've flown to Florida twice in hopes of buying a SL65, but came home dissapointed. I finally closed a deal this weekend on a 2005 Silver SL65! I'm flying this Friday to get it. I can't wait! I'm sure the ride home will be quite exciting!
Just wanted to let everyone know there's a new kid in the club, and I'm d@mn proud to be here!

It's actuallly in Washington DC. I'm flying to get it this Friday. Got a convention I have to attend Wednesday and Thursday. I'll be back home Saturday. I'll get some pic and post, although you probably already know what it looks like.

Well, I made it home with my new 65. After only 80 miles into the trip, the check engine light came on and the car ran very rough. It scared the crap outa me. All I could think was it would cost a fortune to fix and that I'd been taken. I called the guy, and he said he would pay for any repairs that were needed because he thought the car was fine. Turns out the problem was an ignition coil. Only $425 to fix. Now I'm a happy camper again! The power is incredible! I LOVE it! I'll get the pix up soon. Thanks guys.
