Talking SL55-batt. charger
any one know where I can get a trunk mounted batt.charger for this car?

SL55/S55/CLK500
What i use is a Porsche Trickle charger for the 355,Boxster, and the SL55. Works great, all you do is plug it in the cigg. lighter and just plug it into the wall.

I don't think that a charger that plugs into the cigar lighter will work properly in an SL55 due to the split charging, dual battery system in the car.

The battery you want to charge is the starter battery underneath the hood, not the trunk battery.
