TEXAS MILE --- Whos registered
Thought it would be cool to get a list of whos going so we can all meet up. List your name, phone, assigned car# and what your driving. Also, call out the MPH u realistically expect to hit. When we get back I'll post estimated vs actual.

TEXAS MILE -- WHOS GOING?
Well I am all signed up (#80). Got the trailer, truck and "two in car cameras" ready to go. SNELL 2005 helmet, SFI suite n gloves, fire ext., and all the tech n medical forms. Also signed up my beautiful wife for 2 runs and my kids for one run each
Thought I'd try to get a list of all the guys going (name, car#, what your driving, phone, MPH expected?) so we can meet up in Goliad.
I am still waiting on mine 2 be finished. Have not had my car for three months and hopefully I'll get back in the next 2 weeks.
Anyway, if u know anyone going, send em to this thread.
JC

I'm planning on putting PS2s when I get the car back. I have Falken 452 on. I only get 4000miles per set so was never too excited about spending too much but 4 the Texas Mile, I'd rather play it safe

I was thinking of signing up, but I hear they speed limit you if your car doesnt have a rollcage and a harness.
While I'd be very interested in going, can anyone validate if this extra equipment is needed? If it is, I'm not going as putting a rollcage in an SL is sacrilege.
I would consider going just to watch, though. Wanna send me more info about it?

Registration has been closed for a long time.
Below 190 requirements are minimal; SFI gloves, 2 lb fire ext., snell 2005+ helmet.
They use "modified" maxton mile rules.
The maxton does require roll cage and race harness if over 145. I had that problem last April.
