nonly, Congrats man! Can't wait to see the pics
What's that speed cutting device?
BTW, how is it in Saudi Arabia? Meaning in terms of having such a nice car... are there a lot of nice cars there? Are the people there used to seeing people with expensive cars? etc...?

speed cutting
sammy the SL55 top speed is 330 km/h but it's limited from MB to 250 km/h only if u order the speed cutting device u will reach the top speed and u need to pay extra for that around $2200.And regarding nice cars in saudia arabia there are a lot of nice cars whatevere u think about mb,bmw,lamborgine,pourch....etc

oh i see, cool thanks.
I only ask that question 'cause my dad told me to buy whatever I wanted in the US, but when I go to the KSA I should get something less flashy... just trying to figure out why?

Congrats
Rashid, Mabrook man. You are getting it from Juffali, right? I hope they don't end up ripping you off since they always like to tell their customer's that due to the euro going up - they have to increase the price - A plain-jane avantgarde E240 costs SAR188,000 now !! thats unreal .. anyhow, your car sounds like a great combo - I've seen an S class drive around here in the eastern province which is variocolor4 .. The yellow interior should be interesting.. are you in the eastern province as well ?
Sammy, there are lots of nice cars here in KSA to the point you can't believe it.. depending on which city you are going to be in .. You can definitly drive a nice car here though, cause i'm sure someone else will be driving a nicer one !!

That is nice to hear, Muhri. I'll deffinitely keep that in mind... 'cause I sure would love to ship my car to the KSA when I go there, instead of selling it.
benznut, yep, that saying is kinda true I guess. But not in a way where all arabs are rich... I guess it's not much different than the US or Europe... there are well off and not so well off...
Rashid, again, congrats! I hope you enjoy it in good health.

I am living in Riyadh as well at the moment, maybe headed back to the US in March though....
We have an S500 and S600, dad is looking to purchase something fun, so maybe an SL or CL next....
Saw a white SL 55 here in Riyadh, would never have thought of that color on this car, until I saw it But looking forward to seeing the designo colors you picked...

Just a little thing about arabs being rich. Everytime I say that I'm from saudi arabia to someone, that person usually gives me an, "oh wow, then you must be rich." (they don't even know me) Which is really funny sometimes, 'cause when you think about it, S.A.'s GDP purchasing power parity is $271 billion... but one company (one company!) in the united states, like wal-mart, has revenues of $275 billion! And that GDP (PPP) devided to S.A.'s populations gives you an average of $11K, but the united states average GDP (PPP) per capita is about $36K ... just a little thing to think about... hehe, yes, I'm bored
OK, now back to AMG! lol

hey man mabrook o ya36ek khaira o ykafek shara
about nice rides in KSA, u bet they've got plenty
only problem is i always hear that u better check "thoroughly" over and over before u buy it second-hand .. i can imagine why, but even here in Kuwait we have plenty of "car-phuckers" .. if u know what i mean
PS : got the porsche from KSA
