The more I see these pics the more I like them. I'll admit that i'm a bit jealous. Well, at least my car is faster.
looks great. Well done.

He's replacing those sensor-arms with adjustable parts without any sensor? How is he avoiding the system and simulating the correct ride-height?
And what happens to the airbags? Do they keep the same filling and setup like before and only the autobody gets lowered on the frame because of those adjusatble links? Hm...no.
In my understanding, any lowering of the body results in a compression of the airbags, because in the end the whole car sits on its chassis. I have heard about bursted airbags as a result of lowering. Could somebody tell me more about that?
What about the comfort? Is it still the same in comfort mode like it was before the lowering? Or is the car harder in any suspension mode, like with a normal suspension.
Sorry guys, I'm completely new to this airmatic-thing, I'm driving KW Variante 3 adjustable suspension for years in different cars. And now I'm getting tired of that backache mode. Need more comfort, but also I need a low car.

Hm...his solution is interesting...but not sure if I understand that. Sorry for my english.

Airmatic is pneumatic, ABC is hydraulic.
The ABC suspension uses little metal links or levers that tell the car how high/low each wheel is in relation to the body. The adjustable links just replace these normal links and allow you to manually extend or contract them, letting you control the suspension yourself.

SL's have ABC (Active Body Control) suspensions, not Airmatic.

I'm such an dumbass...
I've read tons of articles about the ABC and the airmatic and now...sorry guys.
Okay, so those links are everything I need to lower the car?
Here in Germany, every single serious tuning-company wants to sell me a "module" for 1000,- to 1500,- Euros (that means 1500,- to 2200,- Dollars) that lowers the car electronically. Most of those solutions include the correction of track and camber, but that seems very expensive to me.
Does the kit of adjustibleairride change the hardness/softness of the car? When the car is lower, the suspension should be harder...in my understanding.
Can there be any problems at high speeds? I'm driving often on our unlimited Autobahns...very fast for lots of miles.

I drive around with both abc lights lit, which makes it almost stock height, so the struts are acting just like stock, this shoudl in no way effect the longevity or qualirty of ride. the biggest change in ride comes from the 25 and 30 series tires, not the suspension

You're lucky ...the autobahn is where these uber sleds need to be driven...in the US we are driving on crappy highways in slow traffic and tons of road and highway construction everywhere!!!
