SL55 AMG
I'm planning on going and running...Ahmad told me about the event the other day.
Clayton's car with DRs and his tune which apparently has made a big difference for him should be very fast...plus BOR seems to have an impressive drag racing family lineage and experience which will help him dial in his 600
My goal is to learn and have fun, as with racing in any venue performance is based more on driver than car I would suspect...I'd like to see how fast my car is as well. For that I may need an experienced racer to run it down the track at least once just to get an idea of it. For my own passes I hope to improve and learn.

1. Point
2. Aim
3. Fire.
Piece of cake.
Open invite up to The Clayton Estate, just let me know. There's nothing like watching the Redskins get drubbed in 106" of hi-def glory.

COP OUT, YOU CANT ARGUE WITH ME BECAUSE IM RIGHT AND I HAVE PROVEN YOU WRONG TIME AND TIME AGAIN. THIS HAS NOTHG TO DO WITH MY ABILITY TO LAUNCH A CAR. AND I HAVE NO PROBLEMS LAUNCHING ANYTHING.
TAKE YOUR POS TO THE TRACK AND VIDEO TAPE YOUR BEST 60' ON STREET TIRES, I GOT $100 THAT SAYS I CAN BEAT IT ON STREET TIRES, AND ILL MAKE SURE THERE IS VIDEO OF THE WHOLE THING, INCLUDING THE TREAD OF THE TIRES HOW ABOUT THAT?
YOU WONT DO IT, JUST TALKIN OUT YOUR ***

You have proven nothing except that facts mean nothing to you, but I will take you up on your 60' challenge. I assume again we are talking about my CL and your SL? And seriously...my CL is a POS?

Back to turbos vs Blowers.
How many miles can you go on SL Twin Turbos before they start leaking? Any high mile SL65/600's out there?
I can't get more that 60-70k on the ones I've had on other cars before they started to leak.
Sold a car with a roots that had 145k and my 230K has over 70k and both still going strong.

I have always loved Turbo cars, as well as MB's.
My SL55 always felt a bit like a nat *** engine, whereas my 600 really comes
on strong just after 2 k.
I have a 1986 Mits Mirage Turbo, lowered Koni's Stainless exhaust, intercooler
and re mapped. About 200 bhp and very light, not much more tan 1000kg.
It really flies thanks to the turbo.
So Turbo for me.:
