Squeaking Seat Backrest
I made the mistake of buying the multi-contour seat option when I bought the car, probably seduced by the promise of the massaging seat... Waste of money!
7 years in, and the backrest squeaks like crazy when I move around and lean back on the backrest - sounds like a whipped pup in there or a whoppee-cushion... don't think it's my digestion at fault, LOL.
I expect something in the pneumatic inflation system has sprung a leak. Anyone had anything similar and was there a solution?

I had to laugh, my SL55 seat drove me crazy creaking, squeaking but I cured it. It's the plastic part that runs round the back of the seat to give it strength I presume. I pulled the plastic and seat apart and stuffed foam
that you get in furniture between them. Gone!
It's also worth buying a spray can of rubber/plastic solution and spray it all at the base of the seat, and where the roof closes onto the screen which can also creak. It's such a relief to drive a noiseless new SL63!
