Nav upgrade help needed, please!
I have a 2003 SL55 and I want to upgrade the nav system...can I upgrade to a 2005? Is it possible to upgrade to the dvd system from the newer model and if so, what would that require? Does anyone have a used system they could sell me? Thank you for taking the time to consider and respond to my request!

With enough money anything is possible, however without being completely unreasonable and having money as no object, this upgrade is not possible.

2008 Maserati QP EGT, 2005 SL55AMG , 2002 CLK55AMG 2002 C230K Coupe
This would be the best way to upgrade your nav system from the 2003 to 2009 spec.

View some of the installs folks have done on this board. They do not get rid of the trim.
