New SL55 Owner

After driving vettes for a long time I finally got a dream car I've been wanting, a 2007 SL55. Has 6200 miles on it, great shape and I payed about 1/2 MSRP. I'll write a full review soon but the car is beyond my expectations. I love vettes and they are great cars but their is really no comparing the two cars, completetly different classes. My first question is in the center arm piece is the black plastic piece that the Bluetooth adaptor attaches to, does the plastic piece come off, if so how, I'm going to buy the adaptor off Ebay when I'm certain what I need, any help is appreciated. Thanks

The Bluetooth adaptor just snaps onto the receiver piece. The adaptor comes with complete instructions.

When you say it just snaps on meaning it is only physical contact because I don't see any electrical connection, so is the adaptor powered with a battery?

I recently bought as 07 SL55, and bought my Bluetooth adaptor on ebay, as well.
The receiver has 2 parts. The top is unsnapped, and the Bluetooth adaptor snaps into its place. The part that the Bluetooth adaptor snaps into, the cradle, has a built-in socket that matches to the Bluetooth adaptor. Go to www.wireless4mb.com and look at the instructions.

Are you happy with the audio quaility, how about top down driving, and what do your call receivers think about the voice quality? Thanks

With the top up, the quality is excellent, much better than my M6 BMW or even my previously owned Infiniti. With the top down, not so hot.
