iPhone Dock - Belkin TuneBase Direct
I recently purchased one of these for use in my SL 55 (the TuneBase Direct was the only one that would fit into the cigarette socket without bumping into the gearshift in park -- the TuneBase with FM transmitter wouldn't fit). Of course, if you the the TuneBase direct, you need to have the AUX input (located in the glovebox) on 2003 and 2004 models.
Anyway, it works great! I have just one problem... a high pitched, faint, noise. The noise is louder when I apply the brakes. It looks to be coming from the power source. If I disconnect the iPhone from the cradle, and only run AUX into it, the noise is gone.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a capacitive noise filter I could build or purchase to put inline to the cigarette socket power?

Do you have a picture of your setup? I was thinking about just hardwire the power to the glove box so I can leave the iPod/iPhone inside and just use a remote to play the songs.
