SL65 - Add 1 qt oil at next refueling........
On my 2006 SL65 I've gotten this message twice now. One week apart.
It said "Add 1 quart of engine oil at next refueling." So I added 1 quart of oil. Then one week later (yesterday) it gave me the message again. So I added another quart of oil......
I hope it's not going to ask me for 1 quart of oil per week......... The car has 26,000 miles on it and it seems to run very well......
Anyone else have this message pop up?

Dont add too much
This happened to me and is a common thing in SL's the mechanic told me. The oil sense needs to be replaced. He did say if you drive them hard they may tend to burn a bit . Take it to your local stealership or trusted mechanic and let them check it and dont over fill the oil.
You may want to look into an extended warranty if you plan on keeping the SL.
