I purchased a 2007 SL55, black on ash, pano roof, dark wood, Lorinser wheels, with about 6000 miles on it. I have been driving vettes for the past 15 years, last one a 2007 vert, the vette is a great American sports car but is completely outclassed by the SL. The combo of power and luxury is amazing. Wind in the cabin with the top down is much less than the vette. Power is great, I'm amazed how fast the engine rpm's spool up. I have not approached the handling limits and have not smoked the tires yet but plan on it. I do miss the heads up display, this car should have it. I'll put some pics up soon. Cup holders and nav not so good. Is the only way to check the oil on the dash?
