Does your trunk fall down when you open it?
Hey,
I never really put anything in my trunk, but recently since it has been cold here in Chicago, I put my Gym bag inside the trunk. I noticed when I lift the trunk up in SL55 it goes down by itself, as if it was too heavy to hold itself up at a open position. I'm guessing that this should not happen and that maybe the shocks gave out on the trunk but I'm not sure and figured I ask before I drive to the dealer to replace them.
Thanks
Kamil

Once the car warms up (Garage or anywhere inside) they will be fine. Happened to me last year. No problem at all once car got inside for a couple of hours.

At http://allmercedes.com/parts/ they are $51.45 each... I don't have the paperwork in front of me, but I think they are $60 each at the dealer.
