2005 SL55 Keyless-Go Shift Knob
Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy a new Keyless-Go shift knob for my SL? Mine is currently very worn and is starting to look bad... I asked th dealer and they wanted $600, just thought I would see if there was a cheaper option. Thanks

Thanks for the response, I viewed both sites and the only shift knobs they had were the carbon fiber ones with the start/stop button which are awesome, but I have the brown wood and I dont think that this one would fit very well. Does anyone know of where I can get a stock replacement without going through the dealer? (also, I just saw the whole carbon fiber trim kit and it was awesome! now I am considering changing out all my trim haha) -jhjv87

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
the knob has a upper leather and lower leather part. You may buy either one. I got a CF from performance products when I did my CF interior, but its the lower section.($125)
You can refinish the leather.
you can take it apart, strip it with acetone, and restain it with SEM color.
available at auto paint supplyers and some colors at auto parts stores.
or you can buy parts at Hendricks Mercedes, ask for Joey. He gives 15% to anybody that is here on the MB web site, for all parts. 1 888 275 1186
