Yes, it came as part of the car on my 2002 SL and on my 2004 SL

Assuming that yours has been lost by a previous owner, I have a special search for Wind deflector on www.search4carparts.com which will scour ebay in multiple languages for you, so try that to find another (much cheaper than the dealer).

Theres a good range on there (and one ending in 2 hours currently at £77)

had one in my previous 55 - made the world of difference and complete the car, also handy if you've got a 4x4 behind you with 1800 lights on!

The deflector makes a massive difference.... but do you guys get the roof down much in the UK!

In AZ it is a must have...

Funny you should ask, I got my SL63 in March last year, as it happens not too warm in the UK but actually we had a dry spell last March and I had the roof down everyday for some weeks. Plus I wanted to hear more exhaust and use the air scarf. The trouble with my SL55 was every time I lowered the roof I had a boot leak, dealer just couldn't find it!
