NEW OFFICIAL MB LAND SPEED RECORD
So I got this certificate today from the ECTA (east Coast Timing Association), and thougt I would share a good laugh with all of you.
Its an event I attended back n May, which limited my top speed (Standing Mile) to 145 mph (See Maxton Mile). I was allowed two runs and so as a joke, I went as fast as I could thru the 3/4 mile marker then braked, ending up with 129.
Well I found out I am now the proud owner of a new land speed official record, sanctioned by the ECTA.
How could that be? Well, my car (Turbo, convertible, 2 seater) was the only one in its class to ever compete.
So I am officially a world record holder....
