MB Now Offers An SL Trickle Charger
Approximately two months ago I purchased a MB manufactured battery trickle charger from my dealer that is designed for the SL for $117.00. Because of the snow here in NVA my car has remained idle for at least the last four weeks. Yesterday I had an opportunity to start and drive the car. It stated up immediately and both batteries appeard to be fully charged (no accessory message). I now feel comfortable with letting my SL sit for an extended period! BTW, the also offer one for the CLK63 BS that also works very well.

FWIW...I got mine of ebay and it is from the same manufacturer that MB uses...MB just stamps their logo on it...no difference...except I bought 2 for the price MB charges for 1 (one for the auxillary and the other for the main battery)

Yep, I've got one too. Although, mine is permanently attached to the battery. When I know I'm not gonna drive the car for a while, I plug it in.

Just two different types, that's all.
