Grill update possible..?

Hi.

Does any of you guys know, if the mod. 2009 SL-grill with just 1 horizontal bar, is possible to install on to my hood/bonnet from 2005..?
Just to give it a bit of a newer look..!

Grateful for answers, since our MB-shop here don't have a clue.
They told me to just buy one, without knowing, and just hope for it to fit..!

Here is mine, purchased it from eBay (Tech 55). By the way, they call it a single slat grill Bro, good luck.
