Radio question
I notice that none of my Merc's have RDS or PTY on the FM radio. I don't listen too much to FM, using the CD player more, but BMW, Audi, and most other car manufacturers incorporate the RDS and PTY systems into the radio.
Many radio stations in the LA area are transmitting data over the RDS so that you can get song titles and artist, DJIA, and other information. Unless I'm missing it on my radio (and given the command system, I may be), but I'm pretty certain the MB is the only car manufacturer that does not include these items on the stereo. Does anyone know why?

You may want to post this question into the Audio section.
RDS is in all european radios and Mercedes has is in all radios for at least 20 years.
I seem to recall that the radio settings of the comand unit can be configured.
