sl63 or porsche 997 4s/turbo

Opinions please, am currently selling my xkr but cannot make my mind up Current state of mind is leaning towards the SL. Have had the SL55in the past and both kinds of the Porsche. Maybe the SL is a little classier and the Porsche is bit of a "boy racer". I am 44 not 24 (although the turbo 997 was some machine)

I think both will suit you good. I'm 24 and have a SL55 but I drive my father's turbo sometimes, too. Both are great cars but different. The SL is more comfy and the turbo is more fun in handling IMO. Test drive both cars and see which one you like more.

I drove a 997 Turbo a couple of months ago thinking a needed another Porsche. Didn't take long on the freeway to decide not to buy another Porsche at this time, bought a CLK55 for my daily driver.

Just sold 08 Twin Turbo... I say depends.... I love the new TT Cab, great car and think it now has the new transmission??? We're you looking at a cab? I seem to always grab the keys to my SL63 which is an easier car to drive, almost as fun but I do think the TT is the best everyday driving sports car!! (i'm 43)

SL55 AMG
Or you could get a used SL55 and witht he money saved do a few simple upgrades and be faster than the 63 will ever be. Stock for stock the 55 would still be faster and both cars handle the same...however the 55 looks better, rides just as smooth, and has a more bulletproof trans whereas the MCT on the 63 has shown to be problematic...just some thoughts

If money is no object go for the SL63, even the newest SL55 will be up to
2 years old. I drove the Porsche 997TT very fast, much I much preferred my 63 for everything else.
