SL65 AMG (2005) Bluetooth phone help

Hi everyone

Can anyone help me please!

I have recently bought a 2005 SL65 and am experiencing difficulty with the mobile phone/blue tooth set up. I have rang my local merc dealer a few times and still await someone to return my call!

All I want to know is what type of phones are compatable with the built in blue tooth system? I have a blackberry bold2 phone which, although seems to connect ok, just seems to 'hang' with a message saying transfering contacts.

If anyone knows of a mobile phone that connects with ease I will simply purchase one and use that in the car.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Thanks Lovemybs, my handset is a Blackberry Bold 2 9700 which I see is not listed, plus its on the Vodafone network which is not listed either so maybe this is the problem!

I have since ordered a Bluetooth SAP phone cradle from another Merc dealer (this time I actually got some help!) and the guy I dealt with even checked my chassis number and assures me this will do the trick..... heres hoping!

heh, I don't know what he would need to use a vin for every car from 2005 has the same phone system. Sounds like you are out of the country though so I cannot be much of help. You probably just need an upgraded phone module or software update.
