SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: looking for sl65

looking for sl65
Thanks every one for the input on sl55 pricing. the car I wanted was an 08 black/stone with the 030 option but the person will not go below 80 so I am now looking for a black/stone sl65, 07 or 08 between 90 and 100k. I think the extra $ will be well spent. any info? thank you

Have you driven both much? I have had 2 55's and thought I wanted a 65 but after driving the 65 I prefered the 55. To each their own but I just liked the quicker response of the engine and the lighter feel up front. I do love the torque of the 65 and the leather interior which is why I picked up a designo optioned 55 with 030 option as well.

I've been watching it for a while, they started ~100K couple of months ago but I can't justify the expense for a newer car with more miles than mine. Seems like a great deal otherwise.
The weight, throttle response is only an issue in city driving, otherwise I know at least 3 people who owned sl55 and upgraded when they had a chance.
As a used car the price difference is quite small and you get any option under the sun.
