I'm in transition to a new house and in a rented townhouse - no garage. Buying an SL this weekend. What's the best car cover to cover a black SL that will protect against heat, water and paint (removing on and off). Any suggestions for the neighbors kids who like to ride their bikes and bounce their ***** near my parking spot (they live next door and we're at the cul-de-sac). I'm trying to get in touch with some owners of vacant houses for sale in walking distance to see if they would want 100 or 200 a month for me to park the car their until we move in three months.

Look into some online stores, they have car covers for R230...There's a MB accesory site...if you get the MBCA club magazine called STAR they have several ads.

I bought one of these mercedes NOAH covers on ebay about a yr ago. It was $70. They had 10 for sale. I put it on a link and I dont know how many people bought one, but they were gone in a week. They are first class. And they have Mercedes Benz embriodered on the back end.

Use your other cars and put the SL in storage. Florida sun, rain, and salt air and not fun with a black car. Tree sap is also a pain. I know when I first got mine I had to put some of my other cars in storage. I juust couldn't put the SL outside.
