04 v 05

I understand that the Command Center was updated for 05 and I have heard that it is much better.

Is it worth the extra $$$ for an 05 vs. comparable mileage 04?

What other differences are there?

Sorry for the newbie questions. Just part of my learning/search process.

Thanks!

2008 MB CL600. 2020 MB E300 de. 1987 BMW M535i.
I've had both 2004 & 2005 SL600's.
I didn't notice anything other than the comand. But that is a big difference, if you ask me!
The interieur looks so much more up to date!
And that alone, is all the arguments I need, to go for a 2005 instead.

But from what I've heard, there should also be a difference in the cars electronic circles. A hole new system, actually.
It's now easier to do the gearing conversion from buttons to paddles on the steering wheel.
For what ever that's worth.
Otherwise I don't know.

I think that you should go for the 2005, as you probably noticed!
BUT for that matter, it doesn't mean that the -05 is worth twice, or something like that!
I'm just saying that I think it's worth a lot more.

Good luck with your choice!
