POLL - If No SL55, Then What Car?

Assuming you woke up in a world where Mercedes hadn't developed an SL55, what car would you drive?

C43 AMG
Hmm, CL55 or a used Ferrari 360 (Modena or Spider)... Maybe a DB7 Volante, Z8?

Errr, I mean, I would still be driving my C43!

King Midget?

I assume this "world" disallows vehicles that are gas guzzlers. I guess the line in Athens Ohio could be rebuilt and we could all be driving 100 mpg King Midgets (with their Kohler "lawn mower" engines) at maximum speeds of 45 mph.

(By the way the King Midget is credited for being the longest in production vehicle in the U.S. until their demise in the late 60's)
