My Mercedes Dealer can't help

I am trying to find out what model carries the V12biturbo badge on the right side of the trunk. I know I have seen it on countless pictures, but I am not sure if there is a model that has it from the factory or if folks are just badging after the fact. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The V12biturbo badge comes only on the sides it never comes at the right side of the trunk.

Correct. Some people purchase the V12 BITURBO fender badge for a 65AMG car, and place it on their trunk.

that's what you have right? I think it's a stand out touch and definately clarifies the model of the car with the SL600 badging on the other side of the truck.

BUT how about complete sleper - debadge it, let people think it was an SL 500 and then hammer down past 'em

V12-Biturbo
Mine is completely badge FREE... No 1 ever mistakes her for a 500 (the sound alone accomplishes this, I'm certain my "V12 TURB" lic plate doesn't hurt either)

Great feedback everyone. At least I know that my MB dealer is not telling me a story. I am not into the reverse psychology of debadging. I am proud to drive a V12 biturbo and I think it looks great on the right side of the trunk. At least if the badge is a quality one. My first attempt failed miserably and fell of the trunk after the first rain. I tried to save a few bucks and ordered from a guy in Honkong. Yeah I know, you can't fix stupid, but you will pay for it. Tomorrow I will get the second piece of the OEM badge. It turns out I had to buy two badges to get the same V12 style that I have on the fender.
