Is it just me, or does it seem that anything (HP wise) is a min. of $1,500 for just 10 HP! 
Come on... $2,500 to $5,000 for headers? How much for just 100HP more...$10,000?!?!? What the deal here? Why is the $ per HP gain Soooo High??? R&D?....come on....really....?

One of the reasons why I promised the wifey that I would be content with the as is status of the Sl.
Went thru the mod bug before with my prior car and ended up with an 650 hp 996tt and a lot less family vacations.

It's a small market. There aren't many AMGs produced in the first place and relatively few AMG owners purchase after-market performance parts.
