Illuminated Door Sills??
HI guys,
Newbie here and I had a few questions for you:
1) Can the illuminated door sills be done by any dealer after purchase or is it done at time of purchase only?? Is the fee the same?
2) Is it something that can be done by anyone or do I need to make sure the tech. is rather savvy?
3) Can we choose to get "AMG" illuminated in the door sills or only "Mercedes"

2) From personal experience, these cars seem too new for the techs to really pin down any problems that occur, but I dont think door sills are too technically challenging to install for the techs
3) Not sure. I have only seen Mercedes ones tho.

Reza: how wierd to see you here too. Long time, how's the B-town crew doing? I haven't talked to TC, Chris, Abdullah, Bill, etc. in a long time. I've kept up with Phil, but that's about it.

The B-town crew is doing fine, with Chris and Tfung finding new mods every day to put on their M5s.

door sills
My car is in and they are adding the amg door sills to it. doesnt seem like a big deal at all. they are doing it for free to make up for another screwup so im not sure the cost. i think they told me its worth around 1100. thats canadian dollars.
i will post a pic next week and let you know if the job went smoothly.
