SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Finally got my WHITE SL55

Finally got my new set of wheels. I really wanted something close to OEM to non-MBZ enthusiasts because of my profession and this being my daily driver now so I went with the HRE M45s. These wheels look really great on this car! Got a great deal from Showroom Motorsports and one of the partners personally delivered them to me from HRE.
I got them installed and also lowered it at the same time at Ghost Motorsports in LA who was also exceptional in knowledge and overall service. Here are a few pictures I snapped with my cell phone. Thinking of removing the rear spoiler, seems like to much going on, what do you guys think?

Soooooooooooooooooooo much better.
Honestly, I think those OEM wheels are the ugliest things on an SL. They look so cheap. Those HREs look great on there.

Thanks guys! jwrichter, bought the SL in September with the OEM wheels and upgraded last week to the HREs you see in the bottom pictures. Max, thanks I'll keep the spoiler for now.

Wheels look great! Are they 20's?
I would keep the spoiler, adds just a little bit of attitude.
I assume you are really enjoying the car.
I had my car tuned a few months back and it was a fantastic upgrade. Just a few tweaks to the ECU and the boost now comes on harder and a lot sooner.
The sun finally came out in NorCal and I have been enjoying some top down driving finally!

Great looking ride Doc. I'd leave the spoiler.
The only color combo I like better than yours is classic silver with graphite int. ;-)

Do not do a black wheel with white lip, I have 20" hre's and they had a gloss blk face with white lip and imho looked to gangster/rapperish. I have since had them re-powder coated to a matt black face with a gloss black lip, they look awesome now and I get compliments and head tuners everytime i have it out. My rear wheels have a fat lip and they look sweet when there clean but get dirty quickly with brake dust and everything. i will post pics up tomorrow

I am still enjoying mine and thanking the Lord for the extended warranty! Expires in 2015 when I will consider upgrading to a newer one with more warranty time!

Hal, glad all is well with the SL600... Looking forward to seeing some pictures of it after the detail. Did you ever decide about the resonator delete? I think you were considering doing that when you first purchased the car.

We're expecting our first kiddo and I don't want to have a "second car" so I may part with this beauty. I am not actively listing it, because I truly enjoy the car and you remember how hard I looked for this color (and how I traveled to go pick it up!). Thanks for writing, I was wondering what you're up to!
