Lowhenhart LT5 wheels need new lips
After a Service B, my Mercedes dealer cleaned the car and particularly the wheels with a product that chemically reacted with the clear coat of the lips: It developed a light blue cloudy effect. The Mercedes dealer sent the wheels to a wheel specialist who in turned polished the lips, which in effect removed the clear coat and the special polishing of the lip. The original polishing had some effects in it and was slightly matte...
Now the front and rear lips have a different finish... I need to either replace the front lips/barrels or get someone to re-polish and clear coat them the way Lowenhart does it...The problem is that Lowenhart uses a $1/2M machine to polish the wheels I'm told. I doubt the local specialist will have this machine.
Any input as to where I can find those lips or someone to re-do them would be much appreciated.
PS: I am not willing to polish the rear lips...and I already contacted a company that has been trying to contact Lowenhard in Japan directly for the last week or so. No response yet.

I dont know what youve got, for sure, but to fix this you can ; buy new parts from the mfg, or take the wheels apart and have all the lip or barrels chrome plated, or have them all polished at once and clear coated.
The #1 idea is to have them chromed.
